When I’m not busy being self-employed, I like to spend time with my family and friends.
My husband and I are avid fans of Battlestar Galactica. We both enjoy Burn Notice too! He is also an avid video gamer with eclectic musical tastes.
During the week when there is time my son and I duel – with Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. We also attend the local tournament once a month.
We have a Siberian Husky named Max. Max is frequently mistaken for a girl, but whether it’s because he is that pretty or that prissy I am not sure. I am sure, however, that he prefers prime rib to sirloin steak.
I had a small grey kitty with a white spot on his chest. One day I opened the door to a furry grey beach ball with four legs. It sounded like my cat, and it acted like my cat, so I let him in. He was later confirmed as the proper cat after being found sleeping on his back with all four feet sticking up in the air.
My daughter moved away from home last year to attend a study program. She is rumored to be returning to the local area within the next week or so. I really like her fiance. It will be nice to see the two of them a little more often.
Time to update that last bit. My daughter returned to the local area quite a while ago now. Her fiance is now her husband! Welcome to the family, Jimmy! I would still like to see them both a little more often, but life is busy…
You’ve met most of the family now. The last watery members would like me to go feed them. Spot is a perpetually hungry gourami, and we have the most bashful pleicostomus I have ever seen.
Another update. Spot passed away a while back from natural causes, but the pleicostmus came out of his shell. He now waits at the top of the tank when it is feeding time, and stays there until I pet the end of his nose a few times.
